This is my first time doing this and reading the entries...this is great. I'm clean from crystal meth 22 months, was using in the states for 5 years but back living at home. Do not yet know many recovering addicts, especially women but really need to start.Steve W

My brother and I are both NA members in the States. We are coming to Derry for two weeks starting January 17th. We want to connect with recovering addicts while we are there and plan on hitting as many meetings as possible.Leonard Collins

I thought that I would check out NA in Belfast looking for ?? something new and refreshing. The commentsI read were of, fellowship,hope, gratitude, change, courage and recovery. I was blessed with quite a few years of recovery through active participation in the 12 steps through NA. I have been out using for a long time again and praying for the courage to go to detox for a safe withdrawel off of opiates.It is still thursday night here. If I go to detox friday morning and again saturday I may get accepted by saturday or sunday. The friggin insanity, eh. If I am to sick I dont have the strength to go and if I am not sick enuff I wont be accepted. So, tired and frustrated. Tnak you for sharing your progress in recovery. It does give me hope.
